The Ministry of Environment, in its efforts to promote green growth and achieve the 2050 net-zero transition goal, officially announced the “Guidelines for the Implementation Plan for Strengthening Investment in Green Growth Net-Zero Industries” on Feb. 4, 2025. In terms of fund management, the ministry published the “Strengthening Investment in Green Growth Net-Zero Industries Trust Management Plan” tender notice on Feb. 7 and expects to open bids on March 11.<\/p>\n
To enhance investment matchmaking and professional support mechanisms, the ministry plans to establish a dedicated office, with relevant information expected to be announced by the end of February. This office will provide investment matchmaking services, assist emerging net-zero enterprises in development, and introduce interdisciplinary professionals in finance, marketing, and management to establish an expert advisory and consulting mechanism for net-zero carbon reduction.<\/p>\n
The ministry emphasizes that fund management will adhere to the principles of professionalism, transparency, and fairness to ensure the effective utilization of funds in promoting domestic green growth and net-zero transition. Moving forward, the ministry will continue to collaborate with various sectors to drive Taiwan\u2019s green and sustainable development and welcomes all parties interested in net-zero efforts to participate.<\/p>\n
