Duties

The Environmental Protection, Occupational Safety and Hygiene Center is headed by one Director, who is appointed by the President from among full-time Assistant Professors or above or a member of staff. This center includes 5 sections, which are General Services Section, Environmental Protection Section, Environmental Safety Section, Environmental Hygiene Section and Biological Contamination Control Section, which are each headed by one Section Chief and supported by a number of staff members who conduct the affairs related to environmental protection, occupational safety and hygiene.

  • Supervise the ampus security affairs of night watchmen.
  • Administrative support for the teaching units and administrative units across the university at night.
  • Responsible for all matters related to classroom and overseeing energy management at night.

  • Compile and promote the relevant regulations of environmental protection and education on occupational safety and health.
  •  Design policies for environmental protection and education on occupational safety and health, and evaluate and follow up on important affairs.
  •  Maintain and control the inventory of emergency equipment.
  •  Conduct interactive activity of environmental protection, occupational safety and health.
  •  Display vehicle for safety and health patrols sponsored by Council of Labor Affairs.
  •  Review the safety and health of labs, Internship sites and animal room.
  •  Educational training on safety and health for new staff members.
